Hi all. Now that I have a full time job again, my van is no longer needed as a work horse. I have a T5.1, 2.0TDi, CAAA. Before me, it belonged to a local window company as their service vehicle. I picked it up in 2022 for a pretty decent price and it became my work horse as a self employed builder.
Since starting full time work, I’ve completely stripped the inside, removed the bulkhead and fitted sound deadening and insulated the inside skin. Also bought and installed a 2+1 kombi seat setup for the rear which has now turned the van into our every day car!
If a great as the kids are older now and we have two collies so ample space for all of us!
I’m not following any set plan, I’m not looking to do a camper conversion or anything like that. Just using it as a day van, working out what we want as we go and building it to our own specs and requirements.
This is my first time on a forum for many years. They are a place of infinite wisdom, inspiration and knowledge and I look forward to picking your brains!
