HELP!!! Is is safe to run with the gearbox breather pipe off???

Hi
I've found this loose pipe and it came away when I touched it. I think it should have bben clipped properly, but it was just loose.
I need to do 180 miles before I can get to fix it.
Is it safe to run?

Its not ideal. You definitely dont want to go wading!

Get it sorted sooner rather than later, but temporarily it should be ok.

Just out of interest, is is a 4motion?

Saturday morning I had a fiddle before setting off. I found where I think it belongs under a cooler matrix and pressed it back onto the tube.
But it diddn't click or lock, so I assume it is only just held on by the O ring friction.
I did notoce on someone else's photo that there should be a retaining clip onto the side of the engine, but it is not there. The folk who changed the engine must hane missed that clip off. When I get time I'll take the undertray off and secure it properly, meanwhile I'll keep and eys on it.
