Hello from a possible new T6 owner!

I think VW should have add an Indicator/display to check the sooth mass level or the regen indicator to the vans. I now use a cheap OBD Bluetooth adopter ELM327 (£2.50 on eBay) and VAG DPF Lite (a free App) just to check the sooth level, as I had to keep the van few times idling soon after 60mile trips and getting home. It is annoying, but better to let the Van finishes the Regen cycle than it starting all over again next morning when you are doing only 10 miles.

Presumably you're aware, but for the benefit of others... The temperature required to complete a regen can't be sustained for long once the engine is no longer under load, so leaving a van idling won't necessarily result in the regen running to completion.

Yeah someone has already posted that the regen automatically stops after a period at idle unless it's almost done then starts again when the conditions are right.
 
The touch paper has already been lit then, stand well back and keep your wallet in your pocket.
I'm leaving it, I asked them to check with VW as there is a service in between, I don't believe VW wouldn't have done an oil change but they just checked the paperwork and said they don't have any other info. If they cant be bothered to check with VW I can't be bothered to proceed.
