Hi all, I’m a couple of months into ownership of my first VW T6. We went for a T6.1 Camper which was fitted lovely by Platinum Wave - it ticked our mini wish list (picture updated in the profile)

DSG
Tailgate
Captain seats

Booked the van in for LED DRL light upgrade this week then I’m done (for now )

Main question - many on the forum in Leicestershire? Would love to know about any meets/events in the East Mids

What have you gone for in the new Headlights Stu ?

I went for the THQ option as they came in chrome, I considered the Leighton smoked option but after many days and weeks went for the chrome with matching side repeaters for the sequential indicators

I considered the full upgrade VW ones but the price was a stretch - after an expensive few months with it (buying it mainly)

Not aware of any local groups
The forum have a meet at sibbertoft I think but never made it yet. Done bug jam at santa pod a few times good at first but not as good as bussfest in malvern if you have never been

Three forum get-togethers are around Market Harborough, Spring, Summer and Autumn camps. You local guys have no excuses, just bring beer, and your other halves obviously! Great fun, like minded folk... In addition, Camperjam and Busfest, plenty to have a go at! You've just missed a weekend in Bala, North Wales. Us West Midlanders have it lucky!
