Newish 2018 T6 owner, been sharing a van for a year with one of my boys, but he’s getting out of it, so taking it over.
Sometime back in its history, someone’s installed a Project77 setup.
They’ve done a decent job, solar etc, but only a fridge, no sink or hob.
It’s gonna give the missus and me a chance at camping though and see if it’s for us.
Having run it for a year, runs sweet at 78K with a decent history and previous owner spent some on a major service along with the cambelt and quality all season tyres, and I’ve been tinkering around the edges since we’ve had it, tidying bits up, just sailed through another MOT, so looks good for the year ahead.
Over the next couple of weeks going to upgrade the HU for a wireless CarPlay setup as I can’t live with the OEM HU.
So looking forward to being part of the forum and learning from those that have the experience
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I guess now would be a good time to post some 'before' pics, before you go any further with tinkering and tidying. ;)

Welcome to the forum @Kenthammer , good to have you and good that the van is all yours now!
There are so many ways to go with the van, personally we don't need a sink (ours is a storage zone) and we have a single induction hob for occasional kettle boils, our cooking is done outside on gas under an awning.
Solar is essential for us keeping the leisure battery topped up to power 2 fridges when camped, internal/external lights and the vans various systems.
Everything you need to know is within the pages of this forum with members more than happy to help with your various queries (as long as you have made an effort with the search function first!).
First things first, show us a picture of your van, we are a nosey lot!
Glad you're here!

Thanks for the welcome!
Couldn’t agree more re. trying to search a solution before asking, as a avid forum user on cars and bikes nothing annoys me more than someone posting one message after joining with a issue and never to be seen again when they get the answer.
Will have to take some pics as don’t have any, other when I stripped out/rebuilt yesterday to work out what I’ve got and what I need for the HU, and what trim clips had been broken before me 😄.
Agree, we have arrived at a similar thought of an awning and external cooking facilities, so are looking around at what’s available that’s suits our needs.
The inverter is fitted behind the drivers seat which is a bit awkward and have looked at options to relocate or replace with fitting in the twin set storage bin. It definitely limits rearward travel of the seat, and there is only one feed coming out of the CU for the hook up plug, but there’s a spare MCB, so running a second will give a bit more flexibility when on site.
Enough waffle, cycling day dawns 👍
