Heated seats retrofit on T6.1 - VCDS questions

I am having Audi heated seats fitted to my new T6.1 - using the proper climate panel, seat module and loom. Does anyone have an easy to digest guide on the settings needed please? I found this - would someone with VCDS be able to just interpret the files attached here by @Pauly ? Also, I had read in one of the threads on here that settings vary between Audi and VW, which makes me wonder if settings should be different from factory for Audi seats fitted? Anyone fitted Audi seats and did you have any issues with standard settings?
Last question - can the settings be applied before the parts are fitted, or would that do anything nasty other than throwing errors that would disappear when parts are installed? Reason being the guy installing the seats and wiring doesn’t have VCDS so we need to get someone else to do the coding, and I am wondering if they can apply the settings in advance so that seats can be properly tested as soon as installed.

Easy and cheap way to do this is buy a kufatec coding dongle if you don’t have VCDS they are £80
As long as you wire the seats as factory transporter would be done they will work
Once they are connected and ready open the bonnet plug in the dongle to the diagnostic socket and turn on the ignition
Few seconds it will be coded
Note it will only work with the bonnet open first!

Ah ok hadn’t come across this before. So you set up the settings on the dongle first then when you plug it in they get changed? Or does it allow a selection of things similar to Carista (which doesn’t support these kind of changes afaik)

The dongle has all the settings and coding built in you don’t have to do anything
just plug it in and enjoy the heated seats
