Headlights, Headlights Where For Art Thou Headlights!

While I appreciate this may have been mentioned once or twice, having had Transporters for the last ten years I feel compelled to vent my spleen at just how utterly abysmally useless the headlights are. My own personal opinion is that, depending on weather conditions night time driving ranges from exiting to borderline suicidal! I've even upgraded the bulbs to best ones I could find and it was still like an asthmatics breath of orange pixie dust just drifting in front of my van. I genuinely had my eyes tested as I was worried my night vision was starting to fail!! Having read through a number of similar posts its reassuring to know that it's not just me!
I'm due to replace my van very soon but I will be road testing one before I commit and if they're no better I'll give VW the option to upgrade them at their....errr....'convenience', or I'm off to pastures new I'm afraid. Sorry VW but a £3k upgrade option to replace something that is desperately sub standard is bad form! Give us loyal 'T' customers what we deserve.


That said if anyone has any bright ideas about better bulbs please share the love!
