has anyone fitted curtains behind the driver seat in a T6 Kombi? If so how did you fix the rail etc etc....

One if the converters I went to look at did this...it looked all nice and cosy, but I think it would interfere with getting in and out if the pop top. Have a look at teahupoo website...you might be able to see how they do it.

I've just had a look and the curtains actually go around the front of the seats...

Sorry I never saw this, yes I have fitted curtains behind the seats, though it's not a Kombi so not sure if it would be the same. They were Van X and come with a flexible rail which is screwed into the plastic trim of the headlining. My pop top is at the back so no issues for me, but I never have them shut if I'm camping anyway, I pull them when I'm touring to stop people being able to see in the back or if there's anyone in there. I'll take some pics tomorrow if it's any use?

Pics would be great thanks, I would like the curtains behind the drivers seat though when I looked there is no plastic trim above that part of the van, - there is a plastic trim behind the second row of seats though, but I would really like the curtains behind the front row. If I have equipment in the back closing the curtains would make it very difficult to see through the tinted side and rear windows.

My pop top is front hinged so these don't interefere with getting in or out. I've screwed the rail to the plastic trim that covers the transition from front headlining to pop top

Dare I ask why. We've always used REIMO quilted internal screen covers thus making the cab warm and with swivel seats becoming part of the habitation area when parked up. Sat here in the rotated drivers seat (REIMO 333) there is almost 5 feet between the front & rear seats (LWB T6), it makes a small camper into a big one.

In my case it's so I can close off the rear to people looking in when I'm not in the van. Hides what's in there and also means they don't know if there anyone in or not. I wouldn't use them if I'm in the van (unless it's really hot as they can help cool the cab by keeping the cold air from the ac up front) and I also use the stick on internal screens, though I much prefer the Remifront pull across windscreen blinds I had on my T5 and have been waiting for the T6 version. Also handy if you want to use the bog
