Hi all, my aftermarket grill drls are pulsing when I drive. They don't do it on idle or revving. Any ideas? I tried changing the earth point but no change. Any ideas?

Are you a T6 or T6.1?

What model are they?

Do you know how they are connected?

Are they directly powered from a circuit, if so which one?

Or do they have a power feed and tap a signal from a circuit, again which one?

Pics help folks lend a hand if you can get some.

First thought is either they are getting a fluctuating voltage on the power side or they are being fooled by some pulsing on the circuit they are sensing from.

Cheers. I seem to have solved it by trial and error. They came with no instructions so I found some on the forum. I put the red cable on the battery positive, black to earth and then I had a white input cable and a yellow output. I connected the yellow to the grey headlight wire (wire 10) and the white to the green wire (wire 1). It all worked OK and dimmed when lights came on etc but just pulsed when driving. I tried a few fixed and soldered all the connections but no fix.

Eventually I disconnected the white output wire from the green headlight wire (wire 1) and connected it to the yellow input wire (so both wires connect to the grey headlight wire (wire 10) and it seems to work fine. Unsure why but it's a fix!

Images show the wires coming out of the box as it came and an image of the white wire soldered to the yellow wire, insulated and tucked away in the conduit.

Haha yes, new plates are on the way. Not had the van long, spent so long faffing over which wheels to get, everything else is on standby!
