Garmin BC30 Backup Camera problem

So.......... I’ve wired in my reversing camera by T tapping into the reverse light feed on the nearside loom behind the light cluster. When I select reverse I get supply showing on multimeter however my Garmin Drivesmart 65 head unit won’t find it. Any ideas what I can try next apart from hoofing it down the road?

Not sure if you have fixed this but it maybe down to an insufficient battery voltage on the Drivesmart 65

I took it back to Halfords and got @Dav-Tec to fit me a proper one to my new Kenwood head Unit thanks

I have a BC30 reversing camera, it’s been in use since 2018 and is now giving a ‘foggy‘ image.
There is no visible condensation on the lens and the lens is clean. I contacted Garmin Technical Support and they surprisingly offered a replacement (re-worked unit) in exchange for mine.
Great customer support for a product that is clearly out of guarantee.
