Great thread, just read the FB page whilst having a cup of tea.

Attention to detail looks great, I always admire people that can multi-trade, I can do one trade well (electrics) but anything else I try just doesn't reach my required standards.

Looking good,

just wondering why you put the domino's all the way through instead of setting it to hide the domino on the face side?

I noticed you are using T Star head screws

Great work. Can I ask how did you clamp the laminate when glueing or did you just use a roller to apply pressure?

Also what towbar kit Is that? cheers

Thanks for the comments.
@Insert Coin electrics is actually one of my favourite parts, along with making cabinets etc. I can’t stand the carpet bit, it’s stressful!
@Bryn23 I could have hidden the dominos bit I really like the look of them. Screws have to be hidden though and if they are going to be seen when you open a door they have to be a torx head :)
@Neilson I did a bit of research on the laminate. I used impact adhesive from 3M, rollered it then left it overnight with some weight on it. Seems to be spot on. The tow bar is a detachable Westfalia. Identical to the VW factory item

I've never though about exposing the Domino joint, i doesn't look that bad

I've had mine for 10 years now, bloody great tool.

Keep up the build posts
