Fuel Pressure Issue

Hi, I bought a 2017 T6 in Feb and have had problems with the fuel pressure since purchasing with the Glow Plug Light coming on. The garage have replaced the Fuel Pressure Sensor, Fuel Pump and now the Fuel Rail(?) and I still get get this light come on. I would appreciate any suggestions you may have? I have attached the fault print out. The Fuel pressure should be 1426 but it is 1250. The garage have been fine with exploring trying to resolve the issue but I really could do with this being sorted so any advice would be great.

Have you got a second opinion from a VW specialist?
I can’t imagine why a fuel rail would be changed unless it was leaking or heavily contaminated beyond cleaning.
The fuel pressure regulating valve can leak which would cause a pressure loss, you don’t mention if this was checked or renewed. That would be a quick and cheap check.

Thread merged. @msteart dont worry about your post being missed if posted in one sub-forum but not another - most members use the ‘new posts’ feature - so it’ll get seen.
sorry - thanks.

Hi Thanks - I'm new to the world of VW so forgive me. I will ask the garage whether the regulating valve has been changed. Thanks for your response.

I have had a similar issue the last few weeks. Injectors were changed as a source but the issue returned after a week. fuel rail itself was changed as they though it had a slight weep but issue returned. Pump checked all ok. Eventually found 4 tiny O rings which come of the rail and connect to seal to the injectors to be after loosing their shape. These were replaced and Issue seems to be resolved

For future reference - another Transporter with P0087 fault.
