Fridge Smell

When your fridge is not in use, how do you prevent 'fridge smell'?

Just like a home fridge, if not in use and closed, my fridge (whilst clean) has a 'not used' smell.

Bought a fridge odour thing but doesn't work.

My Dometic fridge has a VENT lever at the top of the frame above the door. When it is latched it keeps a small gap, so the door doesn’t swing open but it allows air flow

Many of them have a door ajar clip. Mine doesn’t, but I prop it open by opening the freezer door flap.

I always when not in use wipe all the water drips out first then give it a wipe out with Flash antibacterial wipes and either leave the door open or leave it on the previously mentioned latch ajar thingy 7 years on never had a problem/smell
Edit: I do the same with the portable freezers as well and wedge the lid open with a folded up teatowel
