Fitting new shocks. What is this part?

I'm getting new shocks and springs purched from @CRS Performance fitted by a local garage tomorrow.

The local garage is kicking up a fuss about their being non_OEM etc. They've also demanded I double check I have all parts needed. I'm swicthing from coilovers back ot a shock/spring assembly.

@CRS Performance very kindly included bump stocks dust covers etc with my kit along with new top rubbers and thrust bearings. I gather I can expect to be be able to reuse the aluminium top plates (item 10 in the diagram below) but what is item 4?




I think I have everything else in the diagram (if I reuse aluminium top plate item 5) but I'm worries I won't have item 4 since I'm currently running coilovers.

Any advice?

Looks like ball race bearings to me. Cant help if the coilover ones will fit the new shocks though.

I chatted with Steve from @CRS Performance and we can't identify part 4.

Like you say @Skyliner33, likelyhood is just a ballrace which is actually part of the thrust bearing (item 5).

Most important, I have all the bits I need so can go ahead.
