Fitting bench seat cover

I was wondering if anyone has fitted seat covers to a bench seat panel van. How did you fit the back covers when they are touching the bulk head? How to you go about removing the seat to fit etc?

Had them on my T5 bench and they were tight to get down behind the seat but kept wiggling and pulling until they were on
