Fitted sheets

does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced fitted sheet for a RIB bed and SCA roof bed?

I can only find a £50 sheet when doing various google searches and for that price I would rather stick with a double fitted sheet that doesn't fit properly.

Thanks

Probably not what you're looking for but we bought a 50mm memory foam topper for our R&R, for a sheet we bought a plain quilt cover and altered the width to fit. In use it just fits nicely, might be ideal for the SCA mattress? Very useful on the R&R too, when making the bed just fold it back, pillows, quilt and all to the back of the van and put the seat up; at night just pull the seat down and roll out the bedding, job done

Well, while the cost is going to be in the region of that which you've already noted you think is a bit much, we got fitted sheets and mattress protectors from an outfit called Duvalay Duvalay - Bedding for caravans, motorhomes, boats, camping

Our wagon has the California seatbed, which has an internally curved radius where the rear of the van is, and they were able to accommodate that for us. One word of warning, although it may not apply to you, concerns the bed in the pop-top. Ours has the mattress integrated into the bed board, with the trim covering both completely. This is hinged at the back. This means that the sheets and cover can't locate at the back as they won't go under the mattress and bed board at the back, thus rendering them useless. If your mattress is loose, then not a problem.

Whenever the van is at the converters in the future, we'll enquire about having the mattress separated from the bed board so we can use the fitted sheets up there.

In the meantime, we'll have to use s/bags up top - that said, I much prefer using the seatbed.

Thanks @Colinlp and @MikeB

We already have a topper in the rib bed which folds up into 3 sections and sits on the rear of the bed once the seat is raised. I'm really looking for a sheet for that.

In the roof the mattress is about 2" thick and is seperate from the frame.

I think I am going to persevere with the double sheets that are slightly too large and buy some clips that are connected by elastic to try and take up the slack.

Thanks for your input

Is your bed 112cm? We use a double depth single sheet from IKEA (designed for a day bed), that fits our 112cm mattress topper nicely, despite the fact that in theory it shouldn't be wide enough.

It's 120cm but I like the idea of a double depth sheet, I shall have a look at the measurements.
Thanks
