First photos of my van doing work! (Albeit Admin)

Trip up to Edinburgh yesterday afternoon with very first overnight "Stealth Camp" to save on Travel Inn. (Got an early pm meeting today and didn't want to fly due to C19!)

I have to say that the Ovano was ace, but have made a note to add a cushion for a pillow to the inventory! Also learned that "Kampa Kip" is an utter b@s@r* to roll up!

No photos of camp due to poor light/being late!

Now stopped for a spot of "admin", as I'm killing time!

If it a double Kampa Kip then fold it in half one way and then half again the other way, sit on it to expel the air and then do both vales up, then unroll it. This allows you to get the roll started neatly, then undo the valves to continue and complete the roll.

I used to wrestle with mine until someone showed me this trick and it is now a doddle by comparison.

I think part of the issue is the lack of headroom on top of the Ovano and the fact that I was trying to be "stealthy"!

Cant really be too sure, as seemed to get here in no time but took hours to pluck up the courage to choose a spot to wild camp!
I reckon it would have been 8 hours if you exclude the fannying about!

Nice to get a proper run out in the new van….and work out things you want to tweak/change! I’d do that sooner than take the Eastleigh-Edinburgh flight, especially these days!
