Fiamma tie down kit - recommendations

Hi all,

I need to by a tie down kit for a F45. What are your recommendations? I have been looking around and see different designs. Some have a steel clip that sits in the C channel, overs are material like Kador strip. I do not like the idea of the straps with the plastic buckle design incase it becomes brittle and snaps.

I bought a cheap fiamma copy kit from ebay (yellow straps) it was absolute garbage! Straps were paper thin and metal parts started to rust overnight.

Cheers mate, what did you replace it with?

My Fiamma tiedown kit was from Go Outdoors some years ago, the straps just go over the arms, underneath the canopy.

All metal fixings.

Have replaced the pegs after a few years of use as the tops eventually bent.

Thank you, I do have this kit but worried it would put too much strain on the arms

If there is that much strain it is probably best to wind it in!

I had the fiamma tie down kit, rafter pro support brace and the feet plates. Seemed very secure. Like others have said. If that windy best to wind in and make sure it's wound out so rain can run off the fiamma tie down comes in black or yellow. From memory was all purchased through everything fiamma.
