A new Fiamma awning not winding in evenly is likely caused by misalignment in the arms, tension issues, or the fabric shifting, which can often be fixed by adjusting the end-cap plastic screws or shifting the fabric casing. Extend fully, then adjust the white plastic tension screws behind the awning arms at the shoulder to align. Key Troubleshooting Steps:
Adjust Arm Tension: Extend the awning, locate the white plastic adjustment screws at the shoulder of each arm, and turn them to pull the lagging side tighter, as explained in this video.
Adjust Fabric Alignment: If one side closes first, the fabric may have shifted. Open the awning, and with help, push or pull the front bar 1/4 to 1/2 inch toward the side that is closing too early.
Check for Obstructions: Ensure no debris is caught in the casing or on the roller tube, which can cause uneven rolling.
Check End-Stop Piece: Use a flathead screwdriver to push the plastic end piece of the awning arm back into place if it is stuck.
We had that aswell with our F40 , it sorted itself after a few weeks of use but we fid flag it to the supplier
We also bought a velcro strap for it to hold it in tight while on the motorway
