Fiama f43 van fitting

Hi Everyone,
We are in the proses of converting our T6.1 Transporter.
We have opted for the f43 van as it was supposedly a better fit for the van but we are having issues fitting it.
The brackets don't appear to match the profile of the van. If one bracket sits flush the other sits proud to the van. This means the pop top doesn't close and the awning doesn't fit properly.
We have watched so many videos but just can't get a good fit.
Any help of suggestions greatfully received

Probably worth mention the brackets you have, I had an awning rail already fitted so was able to use Fiamma Kit F45/F43 VW T5/T6 Combi Rail Brandrup Vamoose Awning Adapter.

Not helpful to you, but that's the awning I have and the brackets are perfect fit so something is clearly amis.

I have used our F43 for the first time with drive away awning and the kador strip hits the sliding door when opening and closing, has anyone else has this issue?

Yes! To be honest I’m going to see if I can find a way of removing the bonded brackets and replace it with a vamoose rail and vanstyle wind out canopy.
The f43 build quality is awful and the spares support non existent. Worst thing I’ve ever fitted to a van. It needs adjusting and I cannot find any instructions or guides for the f43 and the internals are very different to the 45.
Only suggestion for avoiding sliding door issue is get some kador figure 8 and ace it on the top of the lead bar and then close the awning to trap it. So you have a c channel on the top.

Thanks, I was thinking of trying Limbet style kador strip on the top of the awning. To be fair previous van with f45 we didn’t connect the awning tunnel and just wound out the F45 to cover the gap. Made it easier when moving the van

I'm refitting mine at weekend so will see how I have mine adjusted. I damaged mine while it was left overnight so need to see what else I need to fix. I did have an initial door issue with passenger door catching on the arm while opening but managed to raise the mount up one and fixed that.

Does the F43 have 2 channels for the kador strip?
My F45s is fitted to a Vamoose rail and we have to use the higher channel to avoid the sliding door fouling whatever the attachment is.
