Fault light on erayak inverter

Hi guys. Expertise if you may. My van is fitted with a 110ah leisure battery, an able mail battery to battery charger and an Erayak 1000w inverter. Just pulled over at the side of the road to make a brew. Plugged my kettle in (small kettle doesn’t draw much power and has previously worked so it isn’t the kettle) and a red daily light comes on the inverter and the kettle doesn’t boil. However when plugging the phone in the USB port on the inverter it works fine and doesn’t cause the red fault light to come on. The kettle can’t suddenly draw more power than originally thought can it?lol. Forgive my ignorance
