Just popped into the VW dealers with the dreaded orange engine light, turns out there are two faults; Firstly the pressure differential sensor in the exhaust system, which is part of a running campaign (not had the letter yet); Secondly a rebuild is necessary for the EGR valve, it is leaking gas...... They want the van for 2 days, god knows how much it would cost out of warrantee, glad I've got 4 years remaining. I will try for a new EGR valve, not keen on it being rebuilt.
