Engine management faults - any point complaining past warranty?

So, my 2016 T6 Euro 6 has had the dreaded engine management light come on. I bought a Carista OBD reader and app and also took it to my local garage. It has (re)logged several faults after they cleared it and took it for a run and the dash light came back on. The faults were:
P046C00 Exhaust gas recirculation Sensor "A" circuit range, performance
P040100 Exhaust gas rercirculation flow insufficient detected
P047100 Exhaust pressure sensor 'A' range, performance
P154B00 Diesel particle filter differential pressure sensor faulty

They were quite shocked that it was logging this many faults on what is a very low mileage vehicle (7600 miles). It's a van conversion and is mainly used on long trips, not around town so should be regenning fine. They also said that these faults are 'common' on the T6 and it is a known issue, but VW don't want to do a recall as the incidence is not high enough. They felt that even though the van is beyond the 3 year warranty it was worth complaining to VW as it's such low mileage and a known issue. If that fails I should take it to get it all cleaned out at a local specialist.

Is there any point in having a go at VW? We didn't buy it direct but through the company doing our conversion, but I guess that doesn't matter. I'm assuming our warranty is the default 3 years (that's what I think from reading the paperwork) and not 4. Is there an easy way to check?

DPF blocked or faulty, pretty standard for a very low mileage diesel van, cars too.

Personally I'd take it to a main dealer, unless you have a good independant near you.

It's not a fault per se, just a lack of use, lots of DPF threads on here.

Always try and keep the fuel above 1/4 tank, it won't regen with less than that.

I did a longish run at the weekend, full tank of fuel, gave it some welly, assumed it would take the opportunity to regen and then whilst doing a small trip to the shops yesterday it was trying to regen.

Thanks, what is the main dealer likely to do and won't they charge an arm and a leg to do it (as opposed to an independent?). Is the sensor likely to be faulty or is it just blocked up?

Yeah, main dealer will pull your pants down, but at least you have or should have some confidence in what they have done.

Hard to say if clogged up, faulty or both, somebody else might recognise those codes and give some advice.

Sounds like egr flush needed. Think they charge about 180 quid. (Dont quote me)

Had my caravelle done a few times under warranty, and once free outside of warranty so worth asking the question

Humm, EGR valve had failed, DPF pressure sensor also needed replacing. Expensive for a vehicle that has only done 7,000 miles. Everyone comments on how that shouldn't be happening on a vehicle of this age. Specialists mentioned that the EGR valve could have failed due to a manufacturing fault. Of course, VW don't want to know about this.

Just had mine replaced under good will. Its just coming up to 4years 55000 miles euro 5 engine .

There was a re-call for one of the pressure sensors preventing a re-gen. mine was done under warranty after dpf filled up.
