Electrical switch between 2 sources - what do I need?

I have a fairly basic electrical set-up in my Caravelle that I'm trying to simplify even further. In short, I have two 2-gang sockets, one plugged into each power source. I want to have a single 2-gang socket with a simple switch to allow me to select between my two power sources as below.

My Google skills are letting me down as I can't find a simple switch that allows me to flick between hookup and battery. What is it I should be searching for

Aren't you over thinking this?

The 240v outputs of the Jackery remain on when the hookup is connected and when the hookup is disconnected.

So just use the output of the Jackery and it will either be on hookup or battery dependent on whether the hookup is connected!

(Unless your Jackery works in a substantially different way to my Ecoflow!)

Yeh.

Auto changeover switches are not cheap.

Manual switches are cheaper, but big and clunky.

So just use the output of the Jackery and it will either be on hookup or battery dependent on whether the hookup is connected!

Definitely one to add in later when I swap out the Jackery for something a little more powerfull

From what I have read, the Jackery does support pass through, but the recommendation is to keep the output lower than the input (or vice-versa, electrics are really not my thing )

I'm definitely overthinking it

I had in my head that a couple of the devices we use periodically would require more power than the 1000W the Jackery provides, so these could only be used on hookup - hence the 2nd extension running direct from the EHU unit.

I've ordered one of the cheap manual switches linked above which looks like it will do just the job

It's not pass through.

the jackory mains power in.... is a 12-volt power brick.


The mains output is subject to the one kilowatt limit of the internal inverter.

How weird - how come the Jackery website says they are then?!

My Ecoflow is a direct IEC 240v input so is definitely pass-thru as can be used as a UPS (why you would I'm not sure!)

It cant be true passthru as it doesnt have a mains input
I assume they mean it will accept an input/charge while outputting 240 ie never go flat as long as the supply is greater than the demand ?

And now I've second-guessed myself. I've cancelled the order for the cheap manual switch and ordered the Victron.
