as above seems to jam on something and stops opening and closing
next day its fine
then does it again

I've had an intermittent issue with the electric latching - occasionally it just doesn't work.
Of course when it went to the dealer for an awning issue, it worked fine....

I have not had any problems as yet but i have only done 700 miles and not really used them much . Saying that they have work every time so far (mainly showing off ;))

ok..been to vw today , technician saw it do it and plugged laptop in..
so booked in on monday for faulty sensor or something..

Yeah they did that in mine checked sensors and swopped them over to rule that out before stripping interior to replace motor, diagnostic showed overheating fault on motor been fine since, was amazed to find door limits are programmed and sensors work over Bluetooth!

got it back from VW and it worked fine THEN !!!
back to jamming again 1 hour later but worse .....

Mine was exactly the same, graduallly got worse until stopped altogether and had to close manually

This morning the passenger side power slider opened but would not close , seems to jam after about 200mm of travel when trying to close . Used the key fob to when close and open and all ok . First fault after 32000 miles .

took it in today Again !
they say its a door control module thats failed, part ordered and fitting tomorrow
fingers xxxxxxxx'd
