Electric set up for camper conversions

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of converting my van, my next step is looking at electrics. I've found a company online called Vunked where I can order everything + diagrams for how to install. Has anyone used this company before and do they recommend, also would it be cheaper to purchase everything separately ?
any info on this would be much appreciated :)

Never heard of them but also look into a company called Roamer who do the same/similar and are a very well respected company.

They actually use the roamer battery's when you go through and select your setup.
I am building my van out, and I had initially thought traditional leisure system all the way. I did have a paid consultation with Roamer and the plan is very good, they listened to what I wanted (inverter etc) and specified it all with good Victron kit - which other than price there are really no arguments. But when it came down to it, it's a complex job with different gauge wires, bus bars, this talking to that and frankly it was blowing my mind, especially with the space constraints of a SWB T6 (underseat battery was an option but the size of the cables to connect the inverter are huge).

This would probably be contentious to some, but I have bought an Eco Flow Delta 3 Max Plus, which came with a 500w DC to DC charger, it has 2kWh capacity and will output 3kW AC, the other beauty is it has a 30A 12v DC Anderson connector which should be enough to run 12v system including fridge and diesel heater which has a big start-up draw. I am also adding a mains hook up with consumer unit for when we are on sites with power. I will not be connecting the output of the EFD3MP to consumer unit (due to earthing concerns).

I shall also take a look at this too 👌🏼

Wanted to update on this, the EF Delta 3 Max Plus arrive this morning, along with the 500w Alternator charger (DC to DC in other words). Not had a chance to think about plumbing it in yet but it looks great, I've charged it up from my AC, it seems to have some nice features such as being able to limit the AC charge speed, does AC pass though as well. I got mine from the official eBay store, the deal included the Alternator charger - here's a tip: I added it to my basked but didn't check out, a day or two later and I was offered £100 off, so I went for it.

My dad owns an eco flow power bank and its a great piece of kit. I'm now considering the option of going down this route that you've said about. So many things to take into consideration with this van conversion haha

You are not wrong on considerations, when we started out I thought it would be easy. Ha 😆!

Some friends of ours bought their van after us, they wrote a cheque out and had a convertor do it. Their van is lovely, and they're out for their first weekend, we don't have a floor in ours yet and our house looks like a campervan spares shop! Would I swap - probably not 😁

Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss anything. I'm happy to share.

Isn't the whole point of a forum to publicly discuss experiences, share tips and offer advice/ assistance/ opinions... for the benefit of the whole community? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't disagree with you, but sometimes it's just a conversation and not relevant to a forum, on some platforms (TBH haven't seen it here) some people can become quite opinionated and forget and opinion isn't fact.

If I was in the UK I would go right away to Roamer company as they get great reviews. Here is Spain it a bit hit and miss so you have to look hard as who can fit this and fit that due to MOT (ITV) here in Spain. I have to take 7 sheets of paper each year for MOT(ITV) so they can check its all safe!!!!

haha same here buddy, I've got bits for my van scattered around the house, I've started to insulate mine but before I carpet line it was going to do electrics first. I've already ordered a u shaped bed unit from van furniture just waiting for it to be ready and go collect.
the electrical part is the main head scratcher just want to make sure I do it right for the future.
I also cant justify paying for a van conversion company, the prices are ridiculous and I also would like the project of doing one myself.
So excited too just see my project done so I can go and travel around in it.

This is exactly how I am doing my Van. They have a built in inverter so can run the microwave and I have changed to an electric hob so I no longer need Gas in the van. My solar panel also wires directly into the echo flow without needing another control unit.
