Hi ,im after the location of EGR Temperature Sensor "B" on my t6.1 2021 error code P041B00T

A sticker under dash by steering column?
Service documentation?
Sales receipt?
Timing belt cover?
Stamped on engine itself at the joint of engine and gearbox?
By your fault code reader - engine information?

Thanks. The sensor is in the EGR cooler "cold" end. Close to coolant bottle.

Now then folks, I've just had my EGR valve changed and a minor service on my T6 T32 150 DSG. Drove it back from garage and all was good. Took it out today and I was getting a whistling sound when I accelerated. Got home and had a looks ie. Found a sensor completely dislodged in front of the corrugated pipe on said EGR valve as per pictures.
What is the sensor for and could it have caused any damage by being dislodged like that.
Needless to say I am going to be having a conversation with the garage.

Unlikely. The digits indicate only it's an exhaust temperature sensor - the letters identify exact type. If you would examine the other four exhaust temperature sensors on your van - they all have different suffixes.

The code suggests implausible signal - have you checked what temperature the sensor shows at ECU? Wiring issue perhaps?

No mate im a plasterer. It's been in the garage 3 weeks and they said they checked wiring so not sure. I've found the same product code now so think I'll just buy a new one.
