Hi, i appear to be having a problem searching on DuckDuckGo! I put in a search and all that happens is the search title appears and nothing else. I do not know why or if I have inadvertently switched something on or off. I have always found it a useful search engine but it is becoming frustrating at the moment. Perhaps its the Trump thing or is down? I just hoped that someone with better IT ability might have some information.

Thank you it must be me. perhaps one of the updates has prevented it from working or it suddenly requires cookies or something. i have used it for some time because of its claims but i now see it has AI also. i may have to change or look through my settings. OK thanks.

I wonder if the search engine which imagine is American and the protection Kaspersky service which at a guess from the other side don’t like each other I think that it is unavailable in the us now for political reasons. Strange thing is if I search in the top of the page it takes a while then the search page comes up with the search term but a blank page no results at all if I press pictures or video it then gives the usual grid of either so I cannot search with duckduck go in the usual way for practically anything.

Works for the Mrs also she uses a different protection system than I do. Had a little search, evidently some have reported problems with search engines and Firefox including Duckduckgo. Lots of unintelligible computer advice about certain extensions that seem to happen after updates and so on. perhaps it will sort its self out. I can use other engines for searching!

Lap top running Firefox with Duckduckgo and Kaspersky. It has always operated fine previously. I know that a few others have evidently reported similar on Firefox queries pages.

I've had this same problem on my Samsung phone today running Android. I cleared a lot of the cache memory on the phone and still no luck. I've also had an Android update outstanding so thought about updating it and hey presto, all back working again.

Well surprise, Duckduckgo has decided to operate normally on this day! I needed to look something up I tentatively asked the question and ready to launch another search engine and bingo loads of things to press on!
