DRL issue after battery replacement.

After battery replacement, the DRL lights visible in the picture stopped working. It probably needs to be coded with VCDS, any tips on how to do that?

I dont believe their would be any coding an aftermarket DRL, i expect they more likely just tapped off the existing light cluster wiring. If your 100% sure it was working prior to the battery, id be looking for any aftermarket wiring in the vacinity of the battery or right headlight as its likely you just knocked/damaged a wire.

When replacing the battery I only disconnected this plug, and disconnected the black wire. The fuse is working.

I took a look at the end of this wire and it turns out that there used to be something there and now there's nothing, it's insulated and hanging.
Maybe I'll like the manufacturer's track. Can someone tell me who sells it? VAN-X, HQ Transporter?

That to me looks like the negitive is correctly connected to the neg terminal but the red wire (assuminly dangling down and not conected to anything, should be on the positive battery terminal.

I cant be sure on the make personally, but a quick google... - VW T6 2015 Aftermarket DRL Kit - Vanstyle

if you look closely at this image, it appears to have the same fuse holder to your 'not connected to anything' wiring



if you dont want to connect that red wire to the pos terminal (which i think will solve your issue, assuming the black part of the wiring is connected to something), probably the safest bet at this point would be looking at where the wiring is going from the back of one of the DRLs in the back of the bumper

Zoom in, black and red are seperate-they come out of that pvc sleeve to the right.

Fully aware - i think black wire is connected corectly but red wire has been missed when fitting the new battery - it should go on the positive battery terminal.

the only thing that would scupper that is if @sorcos confirms the black pvc sheaved wiring goes to nothing.
