Drivers swivel base on passenger side

Hi folks,
I have the opportunity for a cheap RIB drivers side swivel base however I only need a swivel base for passenger side, anyone used it on opposite sides, or think it may or may not work, I’m presuming the drivers side one may be higher to clear handbrake and handle may be also in the incorrrect place on the passenger side.

The RIB ones come with removable shims to raise the plate for the hand break.

Not sure if you can rotate it round 180deg p for the passenger,?

I think main issue will be that the swivel is off centre, so even if you can swivel it once it’s rotated the final position might be sub optimal
