Drivers Door Wouldn't Open

Hi Guys

At work today I went back to the van to grab my dinner, unlocked it but the handle wouldn't open the door. Climbed in through the passenger side and the handle inside didn't work either. Tried it several times throughout the afternoon and still not working. Drove to another job and still not working. Drove home and it started working again.
Anyone else experienced this?

Did you try the key in the outside lock?

Not had this with the van but I’ve had it with my A4 twice in about 10 years. Both times I’ve opened the window with the remote and thumped the door card and then unlocked and it’s worked.

I think the dead locking has stuck on my car.

Should really take the door card off and investigate.
