Sold Driver & passenger captains seats with OEM swivel bases, Leighton leather.

Driver and passenger captains chairs taken out of my Leighton T6. Both on swivel bases (not sure what brand the swivels are). Seats and trim in great condition, just need a good clean. Base included with the passenger seat but not the drivers seat. Trimmed in diamond leather with red stitching. Looking for £2000 and selling as a pair.

Forgot to mention, open to sensible offers on these, as I'd rather they get used and enjoyed rather than sit in my garage collecting dust, cheers!

Total thread highjack here sorry, do you think the swivel bases add much to the seat height?

Hi, I was thinking about this after removing them. Personally, and I'm no expert, but I can't tell any difference between having them or not. Albeit mine seemed to be either built into the seat frame or just incredibly narrow, so there's not like an additional big part bolted on to raise the seat, if that makes sense... Not sure about others.

Hi, I'm not 100% on these things, but a local conversion company did say they look like oem swivels. Is that good or bad?

I think it’s good and I think it adds less height than aftermarket swivels but you don’t get height adjustment with them.

Price reduced to £1800, or throw an offer at me if anyone is interested. Wife has bought three new Christmas trees so need some space in the garage! (Yes it is February ) Can travel to meet/deliver around the mids area.

I'm toying with the idea of converting my hight-adjustable Caravelle seats to oem swivels, so I'm tempted to buy these, swap the swivel mechanisms and plastic trims over with my height adjustable ones and then put these back up for sale (after paying for VIP membership of course!)

They are lovely, only swapped as we needed a bench, otherwise would have kept these in. Unsure as to why they haven't gone yet, but that sounds like a nice little project.

Hi, yes they were OEM swivels, found the VW label on the bottom of the seats, but unfortunately they sold earlier this week.
