Driver door central locking

Got an issue with the central locking on drivers door of our 2008 T5. Fob works on all other doors. But drivers door doesn't lock or unlock.

Manually turning the key also doesn't operate the central locking.

Where should I start looking to sort this out? Thanks!

Do scan use ie. VCDS, obd11, Carista

broken wires in the door hinge area or a knackered lock actuator. As above, a scan will show you what's happening.

took a guess and replaced whole lock assembly as the old one was a bit bouncy anyway. all sorted! Just the barn doors to try to sort out now. they lock with central locking, but don't activate the dash warning or courtesy lights (though i think ill just remove the courtesy lights and replace with some led's on a switch when i do the split charge and leisure battery.)

Worth following up the barn doors as if you have an alarm it's the same switch that would trigger that.
