Drive away awning rail

Hi , just in the process of building a t6 camper and I'm after some advice on a drive away awning rail which will fil under a westdubs pop top which isn't visible when the pop top is down . Thanks Chris

I have just taken delivery (10 mins ago) of a Camper Essentials awning rail.
Install next week.

Quality is superb. Worth giving the owner a ring to confirm if it will fit under the WestDubs (I have an unknown generic pop top).

I get the point of hiding it but what if you need to get the roof down (heavy wind) - you would also need to disconnect the awning or do you squeeze the awning in between roof and the seal of the pop top?
Another point would be the rain gutter function. I´ll get a second Vamoose fitted on the driver site because of it.

Yes you can close the lid and squeeze the awning between a gap. Thats my plan anyway.
That said, if the weather was that bad, I'd be detaching and anchoring down the awning.
