Does VW factory fit trackers to T6s during the manufacturing process??

I saw the following listing (on the "Vehicle Tracking Tech" website) when looking at tracker options for my T6.1. It wasn't the advertised unit per se that interested me (it has been superseded anyhow), but the claim in the blurb that it "is fitted as standard to Audi, VW, Renault, Nissan, Mitsubishi and many other major car manufacturers"

Is this true? If so:

1. then why do we even need to buy an aftermarket tracking device? and
2. is there any support from VW in terms of utilising a factory fitted tracker for the purpose it was presumably fitted in the first place?

Hi @Bav. Are you saying it definitely doesn't include vans and only cars? I thought "car" was just shorthand for these brands of vehicle manufacturers?

We drive commercial vehicles, sold by van centres.

I'm saying it doesn't include Transporters. As per @Gavinda's comment, we'd know about it by now.
