Discovery Head Unit With Sat Nav And App Connect

I’ve got the head unit as listed in the title. If I wanted to replace it with a Kenwood or Alpine unit, how much could I get for the head unit? It’s from an End October 67 plate t6 Highline

The head units are coded to the vehicle so won’t work in another (I believe).

That’s right it won’t work in a different vehicle due to being paired with your van at the factory

It needs to be unpaired from the van and put in delivery mode. Then repaired to the new van.

Not looked into what diag kit can do it yet apart from VW kit.

I know dealers that have tried and failed, you would think they could remove component protection and reactivate in new vehicle but from what I’ve heard it’s not that simple
There is a workaround to make them work in another vehicle but it’s complicated and requires the headunit to be disassembled and modified

These guys are implying its an ONLINE ODIS via WV-Online job.

But as @Pauly says its an unknown on new units, like the new Radio/Nav etc.
