Disconnecting dometic fridge from leisure battery?

Can anyone tell me how to disconnect dometic mini fridge from the leisure battery as the orange light is flashing and fridge not coming on. I’ve read in other discussions to disconnect but have no idea how to do this? Thanks

Easiest way would be to remove the fuse

Thanks I removed the fuse. It looked ok. When I tried to put the fuse back in to the Sargent control panel, there were little sparks. So I stopped. Is this normal?
I hadn’t disconnected the leisure battery under the seat at that point as didn’t realise I had to.
But then I disconnected that before I put the fuse back and the fuse still sparked a little when I pushed it back in. Is that normal?
The battery still appears to be working, it registers about 13.9 on Leisure battery setting.
The fridge still doesn’t work and the orange light is still flashing.

If the fridge is still drawing current then a limited amount of sparks will be evident when you put the fuse back in. If after resetting ( taking fuse out) it is still not working, most likely scenario will be a low voltage issue. How new is your leisure battery and what is the state of its charge? Can we assume that it was working fine up to this point? Otherwise it’s likely to be something a bit more terminal with the fridge like a stalled compressor.

Thanks Kipperman. Sorry I didn’t realise you had sent another message.
Fridge still not working, same flashing orange light. Webasto diesel heater also only blows out cold air, and got a H02 fault. possibly linked to same issue? Or coincidence?
Tried disconnecting the LB and changing fuse on fridge. No joy.
Just tested the LB and said 13v on the multimeter. Reads 13.9 on the panel. Not really using the LB for much though when out and about as fridge not working & can't really use it for much else, but phone charging.
Have looked at the wires behind fridge they all look ok no obvious faults.
any advice or ideas, greatly received, thanks

Webasto (02 just means that it didn't start!):

Thank you. I have no idea how to check those things it suggests, I’m guessing I need to take it to someone to check those things out. I’ll have a look in the manual. Thanks

Just give the heater another couple of starts, you may have to remove and replace the fuse to reset it if it doesn't start in the next couple of goes. It most probably has air in that needs to be purged if it hasn't been used for a long time.

Personally ( and using Occam's razor) I'd get the LB properly tested - that is under load. A simple voltmeter measurement across the terminals ( with nothing else connected) can be very misleading and if the Sargent control panel is showing 13.9v I would not trust that - as I would only expect to see that voltage if the battery was being actively charged.
As above comments re the heater fault, but don't forget that all sorts of electrical weirdness can occur with low voltages.

So, if I were you I would

1) take the LB to a garage and get it properly tested under electrical load.Replace if necessary.
2) If not, then I'm afraid your fridge looks like it is terminal. I can't imagine these days that repair if even possible would be economically viable.

Thanks OldiebutGoldie and Kipperman, I appreciate your help.
I took my van to a garage.
The battery was fine. The heater had the pump changed and it’s now working, ie pumping out hot air not just cold.
And the fridge was hooked up direct to a battery which didn’t work and generally checked wires. It seemed not to have fixed the fridge but then later when I turned it on it worked!! So whatever the glitch was is gone!
Thanks very much

Yeah I was curious about that as I did check the codes and it wasn’t that error code it was a 0 code, however, that’s what the garage did - changed the pump - and it works now.
