Disappearing down a rabbit-hole with Rolls-Royce wheels

I just can’t wait for this project to come to fruition.
I’m calling first dibs on the Rolls Royce with VW Devonports when Bav sells it on at a healthy discount.

It's a camper, so a substantial, constant load means the ride from the stock suspension isn't that bad. It won't help the aesthetics though if it looks like it's on stilts. 🫣

Ideally, I'd do both at the same time, but I suspect the bank manager would have a hissy fit!
I reckon you’d get the cost of a phone call past the finance director!!!

I ran RRs on a T32 @Bav

Added the close ups of when they were sold not sure if the quality is good enough to zoom in to the inside to see the stamp. I think it only has colour and ET info.

Tyres weren’t load rated (came with wheels) 225/35/20 90 or 93 XL at best. Was very firm and didn’t ride very nice. Had judds on 20s and also didn’t ride very nice but looked the nuts lowered. Unfortunately you can’t have it both ways I found out. I’m back on stock BE Eibach suspension and Sportline with factory spec tyres.

They do have a kind of diamond cut face check the photos.

850kg load rating rings a bell for some reason but obviously don’t take my word for it 😬

Some conflicting comments on how comfy 20s can be, but not unexpected as that's how it is across the forum.

Raised the exposure in one of the photos.. umbers may make sense to someone

Think the numbers are just the alloy style and colour.

It looks like it.

One of the main reasons for getting rid of them is the spinners pop out really easy and people love to steal them! Found every time I parked up for work I’d have to take them with me
Says a lot about the state of the country.

I think wheels will look brilliant especially with some of these pictures that have been put up. On another note, A ROLLS WEIGHS 3.2t?????

Yup walnut, chrome and leather are heavy, especially when combined with electrons, electrodes and an electromagnetic propulsion unit.

Just been down our local high street looking for last minute baking supplies. The One Stop has had its door kicked in and now has those blue and yellow CCTV towers inside the shop - although the four people coming out as I went in had just pinched loads of chocolate.
The Co-Op has now limited ‘expensive’ items - such as a jar of instant coffee, to just one of each brand on the shelf, with a sticker on each saying it’s security tagged. They are also making it hard to move around the shop, especially near the exit, by placing loads of point of sale baskets everywhere- presumably trying to slow people down as they sprint out without paying, yet again.

I’d say I see that - people running out, 40% of the time now. The shops managers just advising staff not to chase them.

I’d be worried for the centre caps on those wheels too although, might sound daft, would covering the RR logo with a VW one make them less obvious/desirable? Might be tricky to do seeing as though they are convex.

Checked out your location, wild horses wouldn’t get me north of Exeter! I’ve got neighbours from Barnsley who moved to Devon for much the same reason.
On the issue of Rolls Royce wheels, I reckon I could sell most things down the pub but there might be a limit on punters for RR wheels.
