I've had a good search but can't quite find an answer,
I have summer and winters wheels for the T6.1 both with direct tyre pressure monitoring sensors.
I'd not done my homework when I bought the winters as I assumed that the van would recognise the winter wheels sensors as a matter of plug and play.
This is not the case and the monitoring (infotainment) system requires some coding / reprograming to recognise the winter wheels and sensors and vica versa when going back to the summers. The infotainment will also require the summer / winter pressure settings to be altered at each rotation.
The question,
What software is required to reprogram the infotainment to recognise the swap in sensors and alter the stored tyre pressures on the infotainment system ? From my search I can't be sure that VCDS will achieve what I need but might require software further up the ladder more akin for garage use.
Thanks
