Differences between Alpine head units

Hi, new to the forum and looking for a bit of insights into the differences between the Apline X803D-T6R and the Alpine X803D-U. The Apline web site is slim on details and why one would be a better choice than the other, although the prics difference is significant. Does anyone have any knowledge on them?

I believe the T6R comes with the T5/T6 fitting kit, the X803D doesn’t
