detachable tow bars

Hi, I recentley purchased a 2017 T6 which has an Auto Hak detachable tow bar fitted . I have noticed that the centre of the bumper at the top has no support and sags in the middle , could anyone enlighten me as to what support it should have ? Thanks in advance Howard

The beam should have a couple thin foam self adhesive strips stuck to it to support the bumper and hold it level, often overlooked and not fitted by towbar companies
If you have a search the part number is listed on the forum but be warned they are an absolute rip off from VW !

I'm guessing its bumper off to fit these?

No.

You can shove them in afterwards!

No tape on mine, I just shoved them in, and several years later, they are still there!
