Hi Guys,
I have a Sportline which I have had for 6 months and have a couple of warranty issues.
The rear camera is laggy and slow to respond
I have Rattle which sounds like brake cables behind the dashboard (Around the radio) assuming something was disturbed when the shiny black trims were fitted in the UK as part of the Sportline conversion
Hazard warning light button is damaged and loose, was like this when I collected the van from Reading when this has 8 miles on the clock
I am so reluctant to send the van to the local VW van centre in Teesside as there a nightmare to deal with and, in my own opinion I’m sure they must pay for the warranty out of their own money the way they react (Had lots of experience with them). I’m so frustrated that I am considering doing the work myself or would this be best to send to a van centre.
Also, if this must go back, is there any decent VW centres in the Northeast or within a couple of hours drive, I take my Golf to VW Scarbrough (Des Winks are brilliant) for servicing and work as the VW dealers in my area are so bad, I have asked them, but they can’t do warranty work on Vans sadly
Any advise would be very much appreciated
