Darkside development t6.1 led headlights

Went down a rabbit hole yesterday

Found there’s a few other places selling full LED headlights for the 6.1s now as well. About 3 or 4 different styles by the looks of it.

Il likely be changing mine before the winter and darker nights come round again so will do some more research and see how things pan out on here

I’ve been doing the same!

Also not in a rush so will see what happens and then bite the bullet when I feel like I’m not going to end up with some crummy lights I shouldn’t have bought!

Well I bit the bullet and got a bit of a deal via ebay, seller offered 5% discount and then also got £50 Klarna voucher so paid £662. OMG they are brilliant, still need them to be correctly aligned as I think they are low compared to the halogen.... but absolutly night and day, very pleased.

You know the rules…. Get the photos up

Glad your happy. How was the fit compared to the originals? Everything line up ok etc? Plastics feel cheap?

Wonder if they’re the same as the vanstyle ones

Fitment was good, everything connected felt decent quality very similar in weight to the standard ones.... also no errors

The leaflet states "VLAND", I used the info from Vanstyle to re-route the passenger sidecable

I’ve gone for a set of these lights now also, looking forward to getting them, will post some pics as soon as they’re in

Not yet, was going to get them correctly aligned first, but might pop some on as is.. they are such a massive improvement even out of alignment

Nice, I think I’m going to give it a crack myself, though might make more sense to get them fitted if they have to be aligned by a pro
