Hi Frigo, it's my first night on here, if that is an option, I would certainly consider doing that, didn't even know that option existed.

Hi Frigo, it's my first night on here, if that is an option, I would certainly consider doing that, didn't even know that option existed.
So, you’re clearing about £45 when all is said and done?!!Not wanting to ruffle any feathers or even argue against your points, just wanted to provide a different perspective on the badges mentioned.
I am actually the creator and seller of those badges and whilst I can certainly understand that £95 sounds a little expensive on the surface, I hope I can give a little perspective on that cost.
As the seller, I do not get anything like that £95 sale price. There are countless fees to pay, I will list every charge on the last sale:
Listing Fee - £0.15 + £0.03 VAT
Processing Fee - £4.00 + £0.80 VAT
Transaction Fee - £6.18 + £1.24 VAT
Regulatory Operating Fee - £0.30 + £0.06 VAT
Offsite Ad Fee - £14.25 + £1.24 VAT
Royal Mail Postage Label - £5.15
Those are all Etsy fees above, which leaves me with £57.01 from the sale. Out of that I then have to buy:
Cardboard Tube to Post + Packaging - £1.20
3M VHB tape - £1.70 per set
Each set is plastic wrapped and sealed - £0.15
It takes me about an hour to design each badge with the custom text/logos chosen and then I have to communicate with the customer and show the mockup (often there is a discussion here about text size and length as the badge has a sweetspot). To then produce the badge set takes just under 6 hours which costs electricity and of course the material that is used, which is incidentally one of the most expensive as it is both strong and very UV stable. There is then around 10 minutes of post processing applying the tape etc.
Hope that gives a bit of perspective.
I spoke to admin last night about trade membership, that got misinterpreted as me asking about VIP membership. I expressed that and waiting to hear back. So, you’re clearing about £45 when all is said and done?!!
And, you get the benefit of free market research from a community of enthusiasts on this forum. (Many of those enthusiasts contribute to supporting the site costs, hosting costs, and preventing pop-up ads through their VIP membership!)
These aren’t “bad vibes” but this thread is shading very close to breaking the forum rule of selling without VIP membership.
Hi JonesyDid anything happen with this @leehack?
You don't need VIP membership to post images. If i buy VIP membership, does that allow me to post images of them or is that still against rules?

Hi Bav, i've been doing the 6.1 badges for quite a while, that was the very first post on this thread talking about them and then from this thread plus it being in my own mind too, the T6 one has started to be designed, which i think could also work on a T5.I've not been following this thread, so apologies if this is a stupid question, but... do you do these for the 6.1 and the 6?
So are you able to do diffwnt fonts? I would like to keep it as close the the original Caravelle lettering.
Yes, if there is an official font you want used, i can use that, if you have a dxf file of a logo, i can also use that, if you have a font of your own, i can install that and use it. Lots of options, essentially i need a way to get the text digital, i can then do anything. I was recently asked if i could do a sportline one for example, i have done them for other converters using their own logos etc.So are you able to do diffwnt fonts? I would like to keep it as close the the original Caravelle lettering.
Interested when you sort out the aboveI now have the T6 badge completed, so can offer both a T6.1 or a T6 badge with custom text and colours. I'm not going to post any images or links as I do not want to break any rules, but I do want to get some exposure. It was recommended earlier in this thread that I offer them on here and cutout the middle man, which I am entirely happy to do, I just don't quite know how to go about that.
Can I do that with VIP membership? If so, where would I actually do it, also when I sell on a platform, they handle the payment and details etc. How would that work on here?
Appreciate any help anyone can provide.
I've PM'd you a CAD mockup.Interested when you sort out the above
I'd just want black with white TRANSPORTER text
Only just seen this post Lee. Yes, VIP membership would be fine.I now have the T6 badge completed, so can offer both a T6.1 or a T6 badge with custom text and colours.
