CTEK Battery to battery charge systems

The forum has been contacted by an installation company who are looking to do a demo install of a CTEK battery to battery charging system into a T6 to demonstrate the new technology at work on a vehicle equipped with a smart alternator.
The plan is to install a CTEK D250SA coupled with a CTEK Smartpass 120 unit to supply a leisure battery in the vehicle (leisure battery must be provided)

This opportunity may be of interest to someone with a standard vehicle who plans to convert into a full camper or if anyone has an existing setup done badly or running from a VSR (ie not well suited for a smart alternator vehicle)

They require the vehicle for a full day on Thursday 15th June in the Daventry area, Northants (Date TBC) to complete the install, the charging equipment is being provided courtesy of CTEK and the installation will be carried out by professional installers for free on the basis that the installation will be photoed/videoed for promotional purposes and you agree to them using footage of your vehicle for these purposes.

If anyone is interested and available on that day in that area then please let us know below and you could be in with a chance of receiving a top quality install for your T6 !!

@Fish is the man to speak to, he got all the goodies installed. Only he's not been able to test it overly since he needs to replace his leisure battery.

Sorry we never updated this thread but the install has been and gone, we passed on info of several people and they chose @Fish and his rather unique van
I am told the video they recorded is going to be used by CTEK for marketing/promotional stuff all over Europe

I should probably pay attention to post dates !!

I will do a full review after busfest, as this will be a true 'off grid' test for the charging system.. i will have 4 x agm batteries installed for busfest so all being well, be topped up before attending and then see how it goes.
