2004 T5, I'm pretty sure the radiator sensor has failed, l've never heard the radiator fan come on at higher temperatures but if I unplug the radiator sensor (lower nsf) the fan comes on and stays on.
I'm not at all competent with electrics so some Ideas would be much appreciated.

The van runs fine, no issues, but I find myself in a lot of queuing traffic and and don’t like the idea of overheating. I was curious as to why the fan doesn’t come on so checked That the fan works (it does) or why it’s not being triggered. Only works, constantly, when the sensor is unplugged. No air con on the vehicle. No fault codes present.

Is it overheating- does the temperature gauge go up in traffic? If not I would say it’s fine. ‘If it aint broke, don’t fix it!

Its fine, good temperature. Must vehicles I have owned I modified the fan on a dash rocker switch to avoid heat soak so this will get the same eventually. I just thought I would ask out to see if its a common issue and can be rectified, its obviously not and can't.
