Collapsed California seat bolster base

Hello,
First time poster here
We got our T6 Cali conversion a few months ago and are working through the odd niggle here and there. On the whole we’re happy with it, however when the passenger seat is swivelled, the plastics catch on the base bolts and appears to sit very low. After taking it off for a look, the steel base has collapsed where it sits on the swivel.
Presumably due to being stood on and possibly dropped down onto over many trips up and down into the pop top.
My question to the collective is can we replace the seat bolster base alone or is it a full new chair job?
It looks to me to beyond repair.
Any and all opinions welcome.

Many thanks

Seat height adjustment not available if they are factory swivels which California’s use. Look at LLL Parts to see if a base is available separately or see I f the base is stamped with a part number and ask your local dealer

Thanks for the information. The only visible number stamped into the steel is 2512
Been on LLL’s website and it doesn’t recognise the number. I’ll try our local dealer.
I’m not averse to buying new seats but what to get? Arm rests on both is a must.

It would be a very simple job and much cheaper to cut the plastic trim to suit.

@Grum looks like it’s the following part no. 7H0881303G
Id check with a dealer first but it’s about £80. With the damage to your current base I would suggest that you replacing is sensible as that part will take quite a lot of the forces if you were involved in a crash

That’s fantastic advice and thankyou so much for finding the correct part number!!
I’ll get it ordered.
One last question though?…… as it’s the steel base only, how’s it best to fix the foam padding to it?

Good question, I’m afraid I don’t know what holds it in place but I can’t imagine it being overly complicated
