Chesterfield Converting Sun Blinds

we have bought a T6 Shuttle with existing sun blinds & just wondered if anyone has had a go at converting them to blackout blinds??

I thought about this too, and found an old thread where a few others had as well. After having a read around and an experiment with some blackout fabric, I think the general consensus was that there would be too big a gap above and at the sides to let light in.

Inspired by some magnetic cab curtains I’ve seen, I’m having a go at making a set. I’ll let you know how I get on...
