I took my ghosts off to put into refurb today and realised what an idiot I am

Full set of Michelins ordered

Certainly got your money’s worth out of the middle one in the pile! When you get the replacements on I would recommend a four wheel laser alignment as something is clearly out of line for that one to have worn so much worse than others.

Thanks mate will do,at £270 a corner including refurb it is a dear old game although the worn out one was on longer than the others:thumbsup:

Wow @richi. At 3 points per bolt tyre, you could of been potentially walking to your next water outing

Out of interest, were the really bad ones at the rear? Only, I had the same issue, and didn't expect it because they wore through far faster than expected, and it turned out to be over inflated rear tyres, and not stupidly over inflated. I was running 50psi and chewed through F1's in 4000 miles. Dropped to 43psi and no more tyre wear problems.

Weird seeing my name on here

I'm not convinced high end tyres in the bigger sizes are really suitable for our vans, regardless if they are load rated. The performance tyres that might be great on a nice Merc or BMW, just don't seem to last very long, where as a general all round mid range tyre seems to last far longer in my experience.

I've just swapped the tyres on my T5.1 4mot, they had 40k miles on them & were only just down to the wear bars. Goodyear Cargo2

Jesus, was it sliding around like fried egg!

And there was me thinking I'd be handing my ghost over to a responsible adult
