Having had my T6 fully converted to a camper last July, and now having used it for a year, I think I'd have done things differently based on how I've used it the most. I think a 'day van' conversion would suit me better, with a fridge pod that can be taken out when not needed, and even have a removable bench seat in rear... or one on sliding rails that can move forwards and backwards as required (are these a thing??). Basically... there are a lot of times, like when I'm going biking for the day, when I need more space inside than I have. And when we camp, we tend to cook and sit outside rather than in the van.
So, enough rambling... my question is this: do people think I'd be better selling the interior bits separately? It's basically a full conversion: bed, sink/hob, units. Then being left with a carpeted shell with the electrics, which is what I'd want. Oooorrr, just sell the van as is, and start again...?
My preference would be to keep the van and just sell all the interior bits... but is this possible? Do people buy such things second hand?
All advice/opinions welcome! Especially if you've done something similar and then regretted it!
Thanks.
